A therapist follows your child&rsquo;s lead &mdash; the toys, games and activities they already enjoy &mdash; and builds learning opportunities into them.<\/p>\n<p>Skills taught this way tend to carry over more readily into everyday life, because they were learned in a setting that felt natural rather than clinical.
