We are committed to providing the most effective treatment possible for children with developmental disabilities: individualized, responsive care; ongoing support and training for parents, caregivers, RBTs and BCBAs; treatment decisions guided by data and informed by research; a commitment to qualified, professional clinicians; and active collaboration with other providers to ensure continuity of care.
What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis is a scientific, evidence-based practice that focuses on behaviors of social significance. It helps children who are not thriving in their current settings, using techniques proven to increase motivation and improve skills like speech, cooperation, taking turns, making friends, motor skills, hygiene and personal safety.
Who provides ABA services?
Licensed Mental Health Counselors — master-level professionals who provide parent training and oversee treatment.
Consultants (BCBA & BCaBA) — licensed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, holding a master’s degree and completing ongoing training. They develop the curriculum for their clients and supervise care.
RBTs and Behavior Technicians — the professionals who deliver direct care to your child, implementing the plans designed by the consultant.
What can I expect in a session?
A 1:1 format in a private session room, including a variety of your child’s preferences.
Is my child eligible for services?
ABA therapy is best known for treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder. However, ABA can also assist with several other diagnoses including but not limited to ADHD, developmental delay, global developmental delay and ODD.
Where do sessions take place?
At our centre, at home, at school, at daycare, and in community settings such as parks, stores and restaurants.
We provide services where your child needs the most support and where treatment goals can be addressed effectively.
School-based services are subject to school district authorization.
What ages do you work with?
We provide ABA services for children and adolescents aged 2–18.
Therapy hours are based on clinical recommendations and insurance authorization — there is no fixed number of hours.
How is progress measured?
ABA is a data-driven therapy, and clinicians depend on real-time measurement of behavior to guide intervention decisions. We use a data-tracking program that creates readable graphs so performance can be monitored.
Which insurance do you accept?
We currently accept Medicaid, Sunshine, CMS and Molina.
Therapy hours are based on clinical recommendations and insurance authorization.
